Peacefully, at Burnside Care Home, Laurencekirk, after an illness bravely borne, on Saturday, April 30, 2005, James, in his 86th year. Dearly beloved and loving husband of Violet, much loved and adored dad to Alison and James, a very respected father-in-la w of Glyn and Margaret and devoted granda to Rory, Ian, Andrew, Stephen, Shona and Alistair, a dear friend to many, who will be sadly missed. Funeral service to which all relatives and friends are respectfully invited., in Laurencekirk Parish Church, on Thursday, May 5, at 2 p.m., interment thereafter at Laurencekirk Cemetery.
