Peacefully, at her daughter's home in Glasgow, on January 6, 2005, after a long illness, fought with exceptional courage and dignity, Donella MacKay, aged 81 years, beloved wife of the late Hugh Gunn, Corrie House, Melness, dearly loved mother of Mareen and the late George, a devoted granny of David, Stephen and Caroline and a great-granny of Jemma, also a dear mother-in-la w of Annie and John and a loving sister of Johannie. Funeral service at Melness Church, on Saturday, January 15, at 12 noon, thereafter to Melness Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Donations, if so desired, to Marie Curie Cancer Care.
