Very peacefully, at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, on July 31, 2004, after an illness fought with great courage and dignity, Elizabeth (Betty) Wood (nee Hill), aged 87 years, 73 Cranmore Drive, Smithton, Inverness (formerly of Esk Road, Inverness), loving wife of John Wood, dear mother of Brenda and Bruce and a much loved granny, great-granny, mother-in-la w, cousin and aunt. Funeral service tomorrow, Wednesday, August 4, at 2.15 p.m., in D. Chisholm & Sons' Funeral Home, Huntly Street, Inverness, thereafter to Tomnahurich Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired, to the Highland Hospice, may be given at the service.
