On June 15, 2004, peacefully, at Dovehaven Nursing Home in Southport, Lancashire, William (Bill), aged 89 years, originally from Slains, Aberdeenshire and former rector of Mortlach School, Dufftown and deputy rector of Keith Grammar School. Dearly loved husband of Meg, much loved father of William and Charles and a very dear grandfather. Funeral service at Southport Crematorium on Monday, June 21, at 10.30 a.m. Family flowers only but donations to Cancer Research U.K. may be lodged with Broadbent and Seddon, 33 Liverpool Road, Southport, PR8 4AG, Telephone 01704 550055.
