SHEPHERD Duncan's family would like to thank all family, friends, colleagues and the many others who sent messages of love and comfort following his passing. We are indebted to Duncan's medical team and the district nurses who cared for him during his illness and particularly to Sharon Hendry, Helen Wills and all the staff of St Vincent's Hospice, Howwood for their care of Duncan and the support of the family in his last days. Our gratitude also to Jeff Diack for delivering a warm and personal tribute and to all those who paid their respects at the service at Aberdeen Crematorium and who contributed so generously to St Vincent's Hospice raising in excess of £800. We also thank Chris Quinn-Waugh and the staff at Aberdeenshire Cricket Club for the hospitality and refreshments. Finally, thanks also go to Karen Mackay of Wm Gilchrist and Allan Morgan of Johnstone Co-operative Funeral Care for handling the funeral arrangements.
