Peacefully, at home, on Friday, April 1, 2005, Alexander Anderson Downie, Fish Merchant, aged 72 years, dearly loved husband of Helen Scott, 56 Reidhaven Street, Whitehills, dear dad and best friend of Joyce and Alan, respected father-in-la w of Joe and good pal to Alix, devoted granda to Peter, Kevin and Aileen, will be sadly missed by all the wider family and friends. Funeral service in Whitehills Parish Church, on Wednesday April 6, at 1.30 p.m. thereafter to Boyndie Cemetery, all friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, in lieu may be made a the church for Marie Curie Cancer Care and the MacMillan Nurses. Bus available at church.
