Peacefully, at Peterhead Community Hospital, on Saturday, February 19, 2005, Katie Strachan Baird, aged 84 years, of 39 Longate, Peterhead, dearly loved wife of the late Jim Buchan (retired fisherman), a much loved and loving ma to John, Isabel and the late Sandy, a very dear mother-in-la w to Brenda and David, a proud and cherished grunny and great-grunny and a devoted daughter of the late John and Bella Baird. Very sadly missed. Service in The Church of Christ, Pusey Place, Peterhead, on Tuesday, February 22, at 1.00p.m., to which all friends are respectfully invited and thereafter to Balmoor Cemetery. Family flowers only. Resting at 41 High Street, Buchanhaven, Peterhead, the home of her daughter Isabel and son-in-law David. Safe in the arms of Jesus.
