My sympathies to all of you, all of Jean's family and friends, during this difficult time. She obviously was much loved. The times I spent with her, and Jack, were filled with love, laughter, royal gossip, and lots of good fun. A lovely tribute for a lovely lady. May she be at Peace. Much love, Kaitlin

My memories of Jean

I first met Jean when Pat & I visited her in Rhynie before Pat & Allan were married. We immediately felt at home as Jean showed us photographs of Allan and took us to the local pub where we met many of her friends and neighbors. Later, when Jean & Jack visited Canada, they came to our home in Welland for dinner, after seeing Niagara Falls. I will always remember Jean's enthusiasm for life, courage in the face of adversity and dedication to her family. My deepest sympathy to Jean's Family. Pam Ballin

What a lovely tribute to a much loved woman. Although we met only briefly, my impression was of a happy, cheerful, soul who was genuinely interested in others and so delighted in her fellow human beings. She was clearly devoted to her family and it shows in the wonderful family she raised. If one's life can be defined in relationships, hers was very full and beautiful, indeed! Our deepest sympathies, Toni and Garry, Barbara and Ryan and David

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother and grandmother. I have fond memories of Jean - her vitality, her interest in others, and her joy in her family. Jean graciously invited me into her home in both Rynie and Aberdeen, showed me around and shared stories of her homes and her life there. And, of course there were her visits to Lorne Park and to Sudbury and Campbellville - with shared good times and chats. I know she will be dreadfully missed. Love, Mimi (Miriam Bardswich)

We have many memories of Jack and Jean visiting Canada. We had them for some lovely visits to our home. Jean was a person everyone should know, a great conversationalist, card player (never doomed) and Royal watcher. May she be at peace reunited with her Jack. With Love, Earl and Joan
