Dearest Nana,
The hardest thing bout living away from home is that you miss the ones you love the most, and we miss you deeply.
You and Granda were always so welcoming when we would come to visit. There was always so much warmth and comfort whenever we would visit your house. You knew how to look after your grandsons and you created some of my most fond memories of growing up.
From cooking the best Sunday roasts for almost the whole family nearly every week, to bringing home comics for Stewart and I from your newsagent (the start of a life long habit).
To not being too upset when I broke Uncle Doug's drum stick even though he was furious and not being too annoyed when we cousins would play football and use the shed as a goals even though we could have broken the window.
Thank you Nana.
Please know that we miss you so very much.
All of our love, Iain, Megan, Auley and Luke.
