CANALE Peacefully at Woodlands Care Home, on Thursday, March 28, 2024, Vincent (Vince), former proprietor of The Washington Cafe (Promenade Café) aged 87 years. Beloved husband of the late Maura, loving dad of Stephen, Donna, Beverley and Rachael, and cherished papa. Funeral service to take place at St. Peter's Catholic Church, on Thursday, April 25, at 11am, to which all are invited. Vincent's cortege will be passing the Promenade Café, as a mark of respect, at around 12.45pm. Please wear bright colours at Vince's own request. Donations gratefully received for VSA, at the chapel doors.

Have known Vince and his son Stephen for many years on my visits to the Washington Cafe to do various repairs. He never let me start the work until I had a coffee,he knew how to soften me up.God bless you Vince and your lovely family,I am so glad we were able to speak with each other in ARI cafe in February. May you rest in peace Vince.
