MUNRO (Bettyhill) The family of the late David MacKay Munro (Davie Doull, late of Newlands, Bettyhill), much appreciate the kind expressions of sympathy and support received by them after the sad passing of David and to say thank you to all who came to the church and churchyard to say a last goodbye to David. Special thanks to Supt. Colin MacKay of the R.N.M.D.S.F., Scrabster, for his thoughtful, heartfelt and personal address at the church and graveside, which shared and recalled many happy memories. Warm thanks to Maria and all the wonderful nurses and carers at Pentland View Care Home, Thurso for their gentle care and valued attention to David during the 4½ years of his contented stay there. Thanks to Fraser Couper and Marion Birnie of John Munro & Son, Thurso for their dignified handling of the funeral arrangements. Sincere thanks to the organist, Peter Dyson for his lovely rendering of the requested music, to Catriona for the splendid refreshments at Bettyhill Hall which was very welcome after such a bitterly cold day. Many thanks to all those who so generously donated to the RAF Benevolent Fund.
