EDITH DONALD 1945-2017 If there was somewhere I could buy back the time, I would be the first one in the queue, Because no matter what the future holds, It means nothing without you. I now carry on and lead my life, Although at times it's hard to bear, Facing each and every lonely day, Without you being there. I still have treasured memories, They are never hard to find, That's because they are always there, Locked forever in my mind. So tomorrow when I lay flowers, At the place where you now rest, I will say how much I miss you, And that to me you were the best. But your spirit lives on in our family, To whom you gave the gift of life, And to me the greatest gift of all, When you became my wife, Edith.
