05 July 2020 No farewell words were spoken no time to say “goodbye” you were gone before we knew it and only god knows why.
Our hearts still ache with sadness and secret tears still flow what it meant to love you no one will ever know.
We enjoyed being in your company and loved your infectious smile.
We remember all the good times and your kindness and thoughtfulness to family.

03 July 2020 It's okay to miss you,
It's okay to cry.
Just know I'll never forget you.
This isn't a permanent goodbye.
Sometimes I sit and wonder
If you are standing by my side,
Giving me the courage
To carry on with pride.
I'll hold onto our memories,
Until this life is done.
In my heart is where I'll store them,
RIP Chris truly one of my best friends

03 July 2020 It's a shame you only get 2000 characters for this message because the amount of stories I have about the man could fill a book.
I have the fondest memories of you Chris as a child taking Scott and I on adventures, to the forest, landmark, caley, clach games, landmark. The list goes on. They were alway filled with love and lots and lots of laughter and the biggest pile of sweet (especially when you went bowling). Your sense of adventure and humour definitely rubbed off onto the both of us as kids.
As kids we were also treated to watching you play football, not for the faint hearted at times and definitely not for 10/11 year old ears when you got on the wrong side of the ref(Barry Stone police officer ) . We seen more yellow and red cards than we ever saw at clach Park watching you Chris. This also probably rubbed off on Scott also because as kids he also has that tough reputation on the pitch also just like his father (and off the pitch) .
I genuinely don't think I ever seen you sad Chris once in all my life, only ever happy and with that massive smile on your face. The biggest smile you ever had was the day of Scott's wedding in Sri Lanka, you were the proudest Dad in the world. So much so you couldn't sleep and the phone call at 6 in the morning asking me if I wanted to come to your room for a dram to celebrate said it all. The whole trip was one of the best experiences of mine and stephs life's. We were there to celebrate my best friends wedding and as per usual you made that trip even more special. Just like all the other adventures we have been on together. I'll no mention the big wheel in Azerbaijan ya bugger. Honestly I could go on for hours about you Chris. You definitely left a big mark on my life and iam greatful for everything you did for me and a child and a grown man, if I have half the life you had Chris ill be a happy man. Until we meet again Shag rest easy, lots of love Chris Steph Leighton and Breagha. P. S ill get you back 4that
