SMITH (Newburgh) Bobby's family would like to thank everyone for their kind messages of sympathy after their recent sad loss. Grateful thanks to all the staff at the Stroke Rehab Centre at Woodened Hospital who cared for him so well during the last few months. During his time in hospital the family were touched by all the kindness shown by his friends, neighbours and all at the golf club - we hope all at Newburgh Golf Club have managed to have a dram for Bobby! Our thanks also to Ray at G. Burgess & Son for his considerate and sympathetic handling of all the arrangements, along with Jacqueline Ruddy for conducting such an uplifting and touching ceremony. Thank you to the staff at Fourmile House, for the lovely funeral tea and finally, sincere thanks to all those who joined the family at the ceremony and who generously donated towards Horizons Rehab Unit at Woodend. We are delighted that a donation of £600 will go towards creation of their new stroke sensory garden.
