ELPHINSTONE (Maud) Suddenly, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, Bill (William) Robert Elphinstone (proprietor of W.R. Elphinstone Transmissions) aged 77 years. Dearly loved and cherished husband of June, a much loved dad, granda and great-granda and a dear brother. Sadly missed. Service in Maud Parish Church on Tuesday, February 25, at 11.15 a.m., to which all friends are respectfully invited. Cremation thereafter private. Family flowers only, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers at the church door for Ronald McDonald House and Heart Foundation.

Rest in peace Bill

I had the pleasure of knowing Bill through supplying him with propshaft transmission components for many years. I drove to Maud from Cambridgeshire to visit him where we enjoyed lots of conversations with a cup of tea and a bacon sandwich in the local cafe, telling me lots of interesting stories of the area and even gave me a tour of his beloved workshop. A pleasure to have known and work with, rest in peace.
