YULE Suddenly but peacefully at Roxburghe House on Sunday, February 9, 2020, William James (Bill) aged 68 years. Beloved husband and best friend to Irene and devoted dad to Nicky and Kerry, adored papa to Chloe, Taylor, Becki and Kyle, loving father-in-law to Neil and Scott. Service at Aberdeen Crematorium (West Chapel) on Monday, February 17, at 11am. Family flowers only please. Sincere thanks to all at Roxburghe House who cared for Bill.

My thoughts are with Irene and the family. I had the absolute privilege to work with Bill at the training centre in Altens. He was a great character and really cared about people, which was clear from the number of colleagues who looked up to him and enjoyed working with him over the years. I will never forget the kindness Bill showed to me as a boss, at a time when my confidence was generally low. He even allowed my son to bring his scalextrix into the training centre - not sure who enjoyed that more! Sorry I can’t be there on Monday; I will be thinking about you, Irene.
