BARRON Jean, Andrew and Ewan wish to convey their sincere appreciation to all relatives, neighbours and friends, near and far, for the many kind and thoughtful expressions of sympathy extended to them following the passing of our loving, caring husband, father and grandfather, Alistair. Special thanks to our Hilton Church family for the loving, prayerful and practical support both during Ali's illness and at this time of loss. We warmly thank all those who paid their respects at the funeral service. Our sincere thanks to the GPs and nurses of Cairn Medical Practice, doctors and nurses in various wards and the Macmillan Suite in Raigmore Hospital for their dedicated care and attention and also Highland Hospice for their wonderful care. Our warm thanks to the community nurses and Marie Curie nurses who cared for Ali and us during the final week. Warm thanks, also, to Rev Duncan MacPherson for his support of Ali and Jean throughout and for his comforting and uplifting service. Our appreciation to the Loch Ness Country House Hotel for the funeral teas. Finally, our sincere appreciation to Callum Ross of David M Ellen for the efficient, caring and sensitive funeral arrangements. The sum of £700 was raised for the Macmillan Suite and Marie Curie.
