HUTCHINSON (Bieldside) Peacefully at home, with his wife and daughters by his side, David James Hutchinson (Dave), passed away, aged 73 years. Beloved husband of Tina, much loved dad of Michelle, Suzanne, Elizabeth and Jennifer and adored grandpa of Tom, Molly, Joseph, Hannah and Joshua. A celebration of his life will be held at Baldarroch Crematorium, Crathes on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 11.30am, to which all are welcome. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu will be gratefully received at the chapel exit, in aid of Marie Curie. A family man who will be very sadly missed.

Much loved and missed

Dave was a keen photographer and, apart from his grandchildren, trains and boats were his principal subjects. I visited Glenfinnan viaduct and captured this image last week thinking of Dave and how he would have loved to be there half way up the hillside in rather dank weather - he never stepped away from an opportunity. The weather would not have fazed him and I will always remember him for sharing that passion with us all.
