DOUGLAS GEORGE passed away peacefully in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary on Saturday, September 7, 2019. Dearly loved brother of Jean and her husband Ian, and loving uncle of Rob, Alastair, Jon, the late Alison and their children. Former Police Constable in Wick, Thurso and Mey. Friend to many in Caithness. Funeral service within Dunnet Church of Scotland on Monday, September 16, at 12 noon. Thereafter to Corsback cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations, if desired to Dunnet Church.

Had the shock of finding out 3 weeks after you had passed, hearts broken because not that long ago we were laughing on the phone and you told me how bad the leek and potato soup was at pultney house. Going to miss you something rotten, been looking through all the cards you’ve sent over the years. Just in total shock and dis belief that your gone, you were one fine man and I’m sure many will agree not a bad bone in your body... all my love always Siobhan
