EMSLIE (Cuminestown/Turriff)Peacefully after a short illness at Turriff Cottage Hospital, on Thursday, August 8, 2019, John, in his 99th year (late of Waterside, Cuminestown). Beloved husband of the late Gladys and much loved father of Edith and the late Colin, respected father-in-law of Duncan. Adored grandfather of Fiona and Ian, also great grandfather of Lewis, Lauren, James and Grant, and a good friend to many. Very sadly missed. Funeral service in Monquhitter & New Byth Parish Church on Monday, August 19, at 1.30 pm., thereafter interment in churchyard to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations, if desired for The Friends of Turriff Cottage Hospital will be gratefully received at the church door.
