JOHNSTONE (Dyce) Rosalind and families would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind expressions of sympathy received by way of visits, cards and flowers, following the recent sad loss of John. Special thanks to Reverend Manson Merchant and Reverend Nigel Parker, also probation minister Joan Thorne for a most meaningful service. Thanks to Major Grenville Irvine-Fortescue and all from the Gordon Highlanders regiment and regimental centre and the Gordon Highlander piper, John would have been so proud. Special thanks also to Dyce New Medical Centre, DR Crockett, Gillian & district nurses, out of hours district nurses and physios, Bon-accord care OT and Nicola Grigor who was a star. Bonaccord carers for their dedicated care in keeping John at home. Sincere thanks to Bobby and staff at Wm Gilchrist funeral home for their compassion and professionalism, to the Craighaar hotel for their excellent service for funeral refreshments and evening family meal. To all who paid their last respects to John and kindly donated £1,400 towards Dyce Church & Cancer Research.
