McKENZIE Suddenly but peacefully, at ARI on Thursday, May 16, 2019, Alan went to sleep, with his loving family by his side. Devoted and dearly loved husband, best friend and soulmate of Colleen, much loved dad and father-in-law of Mandy, Tom, Paul and Marie, devoted and much loved grandpa to Owen, Oliver, Charlotte, Dylan and Boubear, father of Richard and Pamela, a loving brother to Pat, brother-in-law of Colin and George, also a dear uncle, son of the late Bill and Betty, son-in-law of Mary and the late George. Also a good and dear friend to many. Funeral ceremony at Aberdeen Crematorium (West Chapel), on Monday, May 27, 2019, at 1.15pm to which all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations can be made on exit for ARI, Ward 114 Oncology. Resting at home. Wear a touch of blue, which was his favourite colour, funeral attire not necessary. Always in our hearts, too precious to be forgotten, so very sadly missed.

Taken from your family far too soon and never a complaint about anything. We were with you to the end and know how hard you fought; it didn't beat you. Always with us. Thank you for all the years of being a great Dad, Father-in-Law & Grandpa and all the memories you have left us with that will bring comfort in the difficult road ahead. Sleep peacefully with lots of love from Mandy, Tom, Dylan & Bou Bear XXXX❤️❤️❤️❤️
