SCOTT Peacefully at Roxburghe House on Sunday, March 17, 2019, after a long brave fight, Ronald, aged 70, passed away in Edna's arms. Beloved husband of Edna, much loved dad of Bruce and Richard, adored grandad of Mari, Beca, Ben, Cara, Grace and Ava and a much loved friend to many. Funeral service to be held at Aberdeen Crematorium, West Chapel on Friday, March 29, at 2.45p.m. to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. No flowers please but donations may be given in lieu, if desired, for Mencap and Martin at the chapel exit. The service will be a celebration and tribute to Ron. Informal dress please.

So sad to be informed of Ron's passing, I knew Ron as a work colleague in his professional capacity as Chief Solicitor for ACC, he was a super professional legal adviser, always able to find the right solutions and right advice on all matters; he was also a super gentleman and had a wicked sense of humour which helped us all through sometimes difficult deadlines. I will miss his wry smile and gentle ways. Unfortunately I will be out of UK from 28 Mar with my wife and so will be unable to attend on the 29 Mar, however I will hold a thought and prayer for Ron on that day and send condolences to his wife Edna; sons Bruce and Richard, and to grandchildren Mari, Beca, Ben, Cara, Grace and Ava. RIP Ron
