KIRTON It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of James Gunn aged 85 years on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Beloved husband of June, loving dad to Nicola and Gavin, father-in-law to Jacqueline and grandad to Greig. Brother-in-law, uncle and a great friend to many. Former member of Hazlehead Golf Club and player for Banks O Dee and Scotland schoolboys football team. Funeral service to be held at Aberdeen Crematorium, East Chapel on Friday, March 22, at 2.30 p.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. A big thank you to all those who cared for him. Sorely missed and forever in our hearts.

Sorry to read of dad's passing here - can't believe he has gone, and both mum and dad have died within a couple of months of each other. I hope there was no suffering involved, and that it was peaceful. Very shocked, especially about dad, who, laterally, was the healthier between him and mum, or at least the fitter one between the two.
