JAMES ARMSTRONG On the 1st anniversary 24th October, 2011 In loving memory of James When we were married they told us we were one, But they never told us what to do when half of one is gone. What do you do with half a life or half a will to care, What do you do with half a heart when the other half is not there. You were the other half of me, a heart linked to my own, What do I do with half a life now I am on my own. It's sweet to know we will meet again where parting is no more, And my dear husband, I love you so well, you've only gone before. God knows how much I miss him, He counts the tears I shed, And whispers hush, he is here, your husband is not dead. The next time I meet you James will be at Heaven's door, And when I see you standing there I will cry no more. I'll put my arms around you and kiss your smiling face, And the pieces of my broken heart will fall back into place. So sadly missed God Bless Your loving wife Lorraine xxxx DAD'S THE BEST God looked around his garden, And found an empty place. He then looked down upon this Earth, And saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest, God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on Earth again. He saw that the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb, So he closed your weary eyelids and whispered, Peace be thine. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He chose the very best. From your daughter Lorraine and sons James and Stephen Daughter-in-law Angela & son-in-law Neil GRANDA A candle to remember may it burn ever so bright, As we look to the heavens on this very night. Beyond the stars our dear Granda soars, Embraced by his savior on Heaven's shores. As the angels protect him and sing his sweet name, We honour his life with the glow of this flame. So we light this candle for our Granda tonight, As a symbol of our love and his eternal life. From your grandchildren and great-grandchildren
