PIRIE (Peterhead) The Family of the late James Pirie (Jim) wish to return their sincere appreciation to all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind and thoughtful expressions of sympathy extended to them by way of cards, letters, telephone calls, personal callers, flowers and the practical acts of kindness during the very sudden home call of their much loved and loving dad, father-in-law, granda and great-granda; thanking Dr Bruce Strachan for his expert care and kindness to Dad over the years, it's greatly appreciated; to the Emergency Services and Police for the very professional and sensitive way they assisted at such a difficult time; special thanks to Mr Robert Mackie and Mr Craig Mackie for their compassion and empathy whilst dealing with all arrangements, for Robert's uplifting words of comfort at both the service and graveside but especially for his valued friendship and kindness to Dad; and finally, to all who joined with the family to pay their last respects.
