WOOD (Whickham) Peacefully, at home, on October 4, 2018, aged 93 years, Florence Maud (nee Thompson), dearly loved wife of the late Joseph, loving and devoted mam of Alex, Heather and the late Rose, loving sister to Nancy, Freda and the late Bill. Florence will be very sadly missed by all her family and friends. Would friends please meet for service at Mountsett Crematorium, Dipton, on Monday, October 15, at 10.15 a.m. Family flowers only, please. A retiring collection will take place after the service in aid of Cancer Research U. K. and Dementia U. K. All welcome for refreshments afterwards to the Gibside Hotel, Whickham.
