FORBES (Macduff/Longside)Peacefully with great courage and dignity, after a short illness, at Chalmers Hospital, on Friday, June 22, 2018, Alan John, aged 60 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Alison, devoted and proud dad of Duncan and Ewan, cherished son of Margaret and the late John and a very dear brother, brother in law, son in law, uncle and loyal friend to many. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral service to be held at Macduff Parish Church on Thursday, June 28, at 1pm, thereafter to Myrus Cemetery to which all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations if desired in lieu may be given for Friends of Chalmers and Friends of Anchor Unit.
