MOWAT (Aberdeen) The family of the late Magnus Mowat would like to thank all relatives and friends for their support, kindness and expressions of sympathy extended to them following their sad loss. Thanks to all staff at A. R. I., who cared for him during his short stay in hospital. It was comforting for the family to see so many relatives and friends who attended Magnus's funeral at Crossbost Free Church, Isle of Lewis and the memorial service at St Mark's Church, Aberdeen. Thanks to the Reverends Calum Iain Mac Leod, Murdo Mac Leod, Robert Sinclair, James Mac Iver and Andy Cowie for their comforting services. A special thanks to the Grampian Police Scotland Pipe Band for their very moving tribute at the memorial service in Aberdeen. Grateful thanks to A Macrae, Stornoway and Mark Shaw, Aberdeen the Undertakers who, with great kindness and understanding, ensured that Magnus was taken to the Isle of Lewis to his final resting place. He was a wonderful husband, father, granddad, nephew and friend and is greatly missed. Finally a very grateful thanks for the kind donations at both church doors that raised £1,020 for Wards 111 and ICU at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
