BRUCE (St Combs)Betty and family would like to thank everyone most sincerely for the large amount of cards, telephone calls, flowers, baking and to all who helped them in so many different ways following the sudden loss of Jake. Special thanks to the staff of Saltoun Surgery especially to Doctor Thom, for all their attentive care and to those in ARI and in particular to Professor Avenell, who showed such kindness to Jake. Grateful thanks to all the emergency services from the 999 telephonist to the ambulance crews and the police who were in attendance. Heartfelt thanks must be paid to Peter Crawford and Liam Ritchie who worked tirelessly to try and resuscitate Jake. A special thank you to James Summers for his comforting service filled with so many memories, to John Mc Donnell for his sincere tribute and to Anita Mc Donnell for her beautiful singing. Thanks must go to Ian Buchan of Alexander Buchan & Son, Funeral Directors for their attentiveness and compassion shown during the funeral arrangements, to the Ban Car Hotel for a lovely tea served with efficiency and to all those who paid their last respects and for the donation of £1000 for Heart/Stroke and Diabetes.
