Always in My Heart

Amanda Barnett

21 February 2018
A warm, kind and generous lady, who was at her happiest when her house was filled with the people she loved. She touched the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know her. The world feels a little less bright without her today, and she will be so greatly missed. I am so lucky to have been able to call her my Grandma. Her memory will live on in the stories she told, the music she loved and the places she appreciated, and of course, the people she cherished. Love you always Grandma, Your Amanda xxx Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep - Poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die.
