RUNCIE (Bucksburn)It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward (Eddie) aged 86 years at ARI on Monday, December 4, peacefully after a short illness surrounded by his family. A beloved husband of Joyce much loved dad of Alison and Edward and a treasured granddad. Eddie had worked at the Donside Paper Mill, Lawsons of Dyce and latterly at Aberdeen Airport and was also a member of both Newhills Bowling and the Airport Workers Social Clubs. Funeral service to be held at Aberdeen Crematorium (East Chapel) on Wednesday December 13, at 2.30pm. Now resting at Wm. Gilchrist, Oldmeldrum Road, Bucksburn. Family flowers only please but donations can be given at the Chapel exit for Diabetes UK in Eddie's memory.
