MACKAY (Skerray) On December 4, 2017, our beautiful mam, Bella Mackay, Strathanbeg, Skerray, passed away. She was given the gift of life 92 years ago, a life she lived with everyone who loved her, her late husband Willie John from Island Roan and her six children Ronald, Annabel, Uisdean, Mona, Ellen and Heather. She loved all things bright and beautiful and all creatures great and small, she was beautiful inside and out and will be so dearly missed by all her children, grand and great children and her sister Nanny. We will celebrate the life of our amazing mam at 12 o' clock on Monday, December 11, in Bettyhill Church of Scotland, thereafter to Skerray cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Donations if desired may be given in aid of Balmore Animal Welfare Centre.

Just found details of your mother’s passing my condolences to you and your family Ellen.
I met you a few years ago when Eusden, yourself and Bella talked about our family next door from the Mall house.
I hope you are all well and adjusted to life without your mum, a very sad time.
I send my best regards and maybe I will meet you again some day if I come to visit the beautiful north.

Hello -we spoke to Uisdean this evening - so sad to hear about Bella - our thoughts are with your family at this very sad time - never a good time - but somehow before Christmas makes it more difficult - love and best wishes from Corinne and John - and if Aunt Mary Fitz was here today - from her too - love - a massive bond between your family and ours - lots of love Corinnexxx
