BLACK (Alford)Peacefully at Aboyne Hospital on Saturday, October 14, 2017, Matthew Milne Riach Black, aged 90 years (retired Butcher). Dearly loved husband of the late Mary Gray, loving and much loved dad to Fiona and the late Alex, father-in-law to John, a much loved granda to Laura and Claire and a devoted G. G. to Henry, George and Ellis. Funeral service in Howe Trinity Parish Church Alford on Friday, October 20 at 1.30pm, interment thereafter to Alford Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Donations if desired, can be made at church door for Friends of Aboyne Hospital. Very sadly missed.

Matthew was one of the nicest gentlemen I have had the honour to meet. I loved hearing his stories about the horses and his life as a butcher. I will miss him. Isabel.
