NICOL (Bridge of Don)Peacefully, with his loving family by his side, at ARI, on Thursday, October 12, 2017, James Robb, aged 97 years. Dearly loved husband of Mary (Maim) for 72 years, much loved dad of Maurice and Janice, father-in-law of Mary and David, devoted granda of Scott, Kerry and Lisa, special great-granda of Caitlin, Aila and Lucie and a dear brother. Service at Aberdeen Crematorium (East Chapel), on Thursday, October 19, at 11.30am., to which all friends are warmly invited. No callers and no flowers please. Sadly missed.

Deepest sympathy on the loss of your dad.

Hi Maurice I am sending my deepest sympathies on the death of your dad. It's a long time since our Ellon Academy days but I do wonder what has happened to many of my school friends. I am now retired as you may be also, my wife and I live in a small village called Sprouston near Kelso. I read the family announcements on my I pad fairly regularly and just happened to read about your dad. My dad died in 1976 and my mum died in 2010 it take some time to accept and get used to the loss but life goes on. I have lived in the Borders since 1974. Best regards Martin Cordiner.
