Over the past two years, a diverse group of Carers looked after our father/grandfather/and father-in law. Each Carer brought into his home of sixty years, a care and compassion that was as individual as it was consistent in its professionalism and practice, and allowed him to remain at home, aside for periods when hospital care was required. And to Raigmore's Nurses who provided expertise, compassion and outstanding care, we remain grateful and thankful to them for their professional skills and interventions. At home, and latterly bed-bound, the care which the individual Carers brought in daily, day after day, and night after night, was simply humbling, and astounding. We would like to sincerely thank the following: Cathy, Anne, Kerry, John, NZ John, Liam, Jill, Stevie, Deborah, Rebekah, Fiona, James, Edison, Jay, Julie, Aidan, Michelle, and an incredible D. N. Katy. Many of the aforementioned also cared for our late mother, as well as our recently deceased father, and now that they have both gone, all we can so inadequately say is: "Thank you from a very grateful family."
