On behalf of Sheila’s brothers and wider family I wish to echo and add to Dougald’s thanks to everyone involved with Sheila by way of friendship, care and medical support over many years, and for attending and participating in the celebratory and moving ceremony at Baldarroch Crematorium. The music was wonderful, also including splendid contributions from Sheila’s long-time choral companions the Aberdeen Sweet Adelines. The overflowing hall was testimony to the popularity and regard felt for a very friendly, sociable, talented but self-effacing lady. She was enormously encouraging and helpful to all. Her thoroughness, constant activity, and the exemplary way she bore frequent bouts of ill health with determined fortitude won the deepest admiration of us all. A delightful sister, a lovely, loving and very much loved lady, she is sorely missed. Donald Munro
