CHRISTIE (Aberdeen/ Inverurie) Doug passed away peacefully after a long illness on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Grandholm care home, aged 76 years. Beloved husband of the late Nan, dearly loved dad to Lorna and Jill, father-in-law to Albie and Sonny, devoted grandpa to Thomas, a dear brother, uncle, nephew and friend to many. Funeral service to be held at Kaimhill Chapel, Old Crematorium, Kaimhill Road, Aberdeen, AB10 7JL, on Monday, January 23, 2017, at 11.00am, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations can be given, if so desired, towards University of Aberdeen dementia research at chapel exit. Always remembered.
