LOCKE-SCOBIE (Inverness)The family of the late Catherine Clarke Locke-Scobie, wish to thank everyone who attended her funeral at Inverness Crematorium on January 5, 2017. Money raised on the day and since donated for Catherine's charities, The Cats Protection League and the PDSA, has topped almost £200. Further thanks to all family and friends for their sympathetic correspondence. Commendations must go to the paramedics who attended to Catherine, all the staff at Raigmore Hospitals ICU Department and her dedicated nurse Rachel. Thanks must also go to Laura Gillespie, our Humanist Celebrant and Vicki Fraser of John Fraser & Son, Chapel Street, Inverness, for a beautiful and uplifting ceremony. Lastly our sincere thanks to The Kingsmills Hotel, for their superb Ceremony of Life tea, which was held after the cremation. `Grief must be allowed to drift away to be replaced by vibrant, happy memories of the beautiful, caring and humorous woman that is Catherine'.
