GERRARD Moira and family wish to express their sincere thanks to all relatives, friends and neighbours for their cards, flowers and telephone calls on the sudden sad loss of Alan. We wish to thank Duncan and Alice Downie for their caring, sympathetic handling of the funeral arrangements, Rev Euan Glen for his help and comforting service, Charlie Esson for his uplifting music and Kevin Farquhar and staff who provided a lovely warming lunch. Sincere thanks also to the emergency services for their efficiency and kindness. Thanks also to all who paid their last respects to Alan at the church and graveside. Very sadly missed.
