ELLIS (Macduff)Anne, Pat, Ivy and families would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the very kind expressions of sympathy and support by way of visits, messages, beautiful cards and flowers following the recent sad loss of their mam Joan. Special thanks to Vera Lumsden for such an uplifting and comforting service and to Eleanor Wilson for the beautiful music. Warm thanks go to Alison, Jane and the staff at A. D. Walker, Funeral Directors for their kindness, professionalism and efficient funeral arrangements. Thanks also to Audrey Smart, Florist, for the beautiful floral tributes and to the Banff Springs Hotel for the excellent teas. Sincere thanks to the Ambulance crew, to the wonderful compassionate staff of ward 306, ARI and to the Nurses at Deveron Medical Practice. The Family would also like to thank all the carers, both from Eildon and Aberdeenshire Council who looked after Joan so well. Grateful thanks to Morag Mair, Vera Slater and to the pharmacy staff at Bruce Scott, Chemist for all their unfailing kindness and support given to Joan over many years. Over the past few years Joan also received so much help from Tesco, Fraserburgh, Wiltshire Farm Foods, Ellon and the Fishmerchant Sandend, these acts of kindness never went unnoticed, sincere thanks. Finally a heartfelt thank you to all those who paid their last respects at the service and graveside and so generously donated the sum of £854.32 to be shared between the Salvation Army and Ward 306, ARI. Very sadly missed.
