SPENCE (Alford)Peacefully at Badenscoth House, Rothienorman, on Friday, August 12, 2016, surrounded by her family, Elsie Spence (nee Lawson) in her 90th year, former hotelier at Haughton House, Haughton Arms Hotel and The Brig, where she spent many happy days, devoted wife of the late Charlie, much loved mum to David, Cynthia, Chay and Elspeth, dear mother-in-law to Phyllis, John, Linda and Randy, a much loved grandma, great grandma and good friend to many. Funeral service at Howe Trinity Parish Church, Alford, on Thursday, August 18, at 1.00 pm, thereafter to Alford Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, but donations if desired, can be made at church door for Badenscoth House & Glaucoma Association. Sorely missed by all.
