STRACHAN (Peterhead)Peacefully at Sunnybank Care Home, Cruden Bay on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, Eileen Thom, aged 86 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Andrew Strachan, a much loved ma, grandma and great-grandma. Very sadly missed. Service in The Almanythie Hall, Grange Road, Peterhead on Thursday, June 30, at 10.30a.m. to which all friends are respectfully invited and thereafter to Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers at the hall door for chosen charities.

I have very fond memories of visiting the family in Battery Park and also Atlantic Avenue and the later houses, and also of your trips to Port Seton with Uncle Johnnie, Ian, Les, Kevin and Sean. I remember your sense of fun and kindness to my brother David and I and the fun we had at the family get togethers.You were loved and respected by all the family Eileen and we all share the grief and sadness experienced by all the boys especially Kevin at this time.
