On Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at home, surrounded by his family and loving professional care and peace, Ian Michael Scott (IMSP) CBE, MA, LLB, past-President Law Society of Scotland and Society of Advocates in Aberdeen. Greatly loved husband of Elizabeth, quietly proud father of William and the late Sandy, special father-in-law of Suzanne, much loved brother of Jennifer, uncle and friend of so many. Michael will be sorely missed. Cremation private. A celebration and thanksgiving for Michael's colourful life will be held at Newhills Parish Church, Bucksburn on Friday, June 3, at 10.30am. All welcome.
