GREEN It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Houston, aged 71 years, Freeman of John O'Groats, on Thursday, February 4, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. Dearly loved husband of Lana, much loved dad of Eric, Callum, Greig and the late Andrew, respected father-in-law of Irene and Diane, adoring grandad of David, Iain, John, Adam, Emily, Alistair, Jordan and Ellen, great grandfather of Rory, a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Funeral service with Canisbay Church of Scotland on Wednesday, February 10, service commencing at 12 noon, thereafter to Canisbay Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, but donations if desired, may be given at the service in aid of Mey and District Senior Citizens and Caithness Palliative Care.
