MCROBBIE (Aberdeen/Fraserburg h)Peacefully at home, after a long illness bravely borne with dignity and courage, in the loving arms of his beloved family. Darren (Jack), aged 35 years, dearly loved and loving son of Gary and Rosemary, loved grandson, nephew, cousin and much respected work colleague at Belmar Engineering and long time member of Newburgh Golf Club. Funeral service from Fraserburgh Old Parish Church on Thursday December 3, at 12 pm, thereafter to Peathill Cemetery, to which all friends are respectfully invited. Flowers from family and close friends only please but donations may be given in lieu if so desired at church door for Friends of the Neuro Ward, ARI. Will be so sadly missed and forever in our hearts.
01 December 2015 I was so sad to hear about your tragic loss, Darren was a true inspiration to my husband Ian who passed away from a brain tumour in 2012.
He gave Ian such a boost for life after he had had a couple of operations and was feeling very low. Darren was just so happy and full of optimism that Ian enjoyed his company and listened to what he was saying.
My family will always remember Darren for this, and I know my daughter remained friends on Facebook with him.
I cannot begin to know how you are both feeling tonight because your loss is so different from mine, although both suffered from a tragic disease/illness which so cruelly removed them from our lives.
I never believe people who say TIME IS A HEALER!!! It's not you learn to move forward with the memories you have and the fact you have no other option but to keep going.
Please know that you are deep in my thoughts and my heart.
All my love Denise Burrows xx

01 December 2015 Remembering the sleepovers you and Stewart shared as young boys growing up. The highlight of your Friday night at our house was a fish supper from mikes chipper and a movie. You always told us the end of the film before it had even started!! That still brings a smile to our faces even though many years have passed.
