SMITH (Inverurie/Tornaveen )Moira, David, Sarah and families wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind expressions of sympathy extended to them by way of cards, telephone calls, flowers and personal calls following the sad loss of George (Geordie). Thanks to the staff at Belford Hospital, Fort William, for their kindness, to Charlie Esson for his accordion music in the kirk and to Rev. John Cook for his most comforting service. Special thanks to David for his poem and to Sarah for 'piping' Geordie on his final journey, to Alice and Duncan Downie for their friendly and sensitive approach, their guidance and efficient handling of all the arrangements during a difficult time and to the Muggarthaugh Hotel for the welcome teas. Thank you to all who paid their last respects at the kirk and graveside and who so generously donated £1040 to Chest, Heart, Stroke Scotland. Geordie will be sadly missed by all.
