LOUDON On behalf of all the family, George wishes to thank the very many friends who supported them in their unexpected sad loss of Mags. Your cards, telephone calls, texts, personal visits (often bearing flowers or food), emails and postings on social media overwhelmed us all. We sincerely thank Mike Mc Fall and his team for their professional work, and Janet Donnelly for reading the eulogy with humour and sensitivity. Also David Doogan and David Banks, the ambulance crew, as well as Ishbel and Malcolm, the attending police officers, and to the very many friends who filled the hall at the service with an aura of kindness and empathy. Thanks also to Printsmith for their excellent and speedy work, and to Shona Neilson at Macdonalds Florists for the lovely work on the floral tributes. George gives special sincere thanks to Rhona and her daughter Katie, the first responders, who made tremendous efforts for Mags and at the same time managed to be a wonderful comfort to him in his distress. He also wishes to apologise to the principal pall bearers, Duncan Rowan and John Dobie, for the unforeseen train of events which saw them sidelined.
