BEATTIE (Inverbervie)Peacefu lly at home, on Monday July 27, 2015, after a short illness bravely borne, William (Willie), aged 91 years. Dearly loved and loving husband of Ann. Much loved dad of Kathleen, Cindy (Isobyl) and David. A dear father in law, a proud grandfather and great grampa. Funeral service at Bervie Parish Church on Wednesday August 5, at 1.30 pm. Thereafter to Bervie Cemetery to which all relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers please. Donations in lieu if desired may be made at the church door towards Marie Curie Nurses & Alzheimer Scotland.

Sig, April and I have many fond memories of Willie, be it Haggis stories or general chit chat in the shop. His support with helping the Bervie drama group was always welcomed and appreciated. As part of the few American families on Trenchard Way back in 1986-1990, Willie , Ann and David always made us feel part of the Bervie community.
He will be missed by many . Our condolences to you all.
