CAMPBELL (Portknockie) Alison and Shona, daughters of the late George, would like to extend their sincere thanks to all family, friends, neighbours, former pupils and former colleagues for the many heartfelt expressions of sympathy and support given to them following their recent loss of a dear father. It was all very much appreciated. Thanks go to the professional services and care providers at Moray Council, Dr Gray's Hospital, Elgin, Seafield Hospital, Buckie and Netherha House. Grateful thanks go to GP's Dr Richard Stoker and Dr Kirsty Shaw at Seafield Medical Group, Cullen for their unstinting care and compassion shown to George in his later life. Special praise and thank you to Reverend Douglas Stevenson for his sensitive and accurate portrayal of George in his fitting tribute, and for providing a comforting and consoling service. Thanks must go to Mrs Rachel Emmott who kindly played the organ throughout, in a skilful manner, all the music pieces loved by George. Thank you most of all to Dave and Mary Lawrence, of Joe Dawson Funeral Directors, who provided a funeral undertaking service second to none. Their sensitive and caring management of all the arrangements went a long way to assist the family at a sad and difficult time. Finally thank you to Annie at Annie's Catering who served a beautifully generous funeral tea, enjoyed by all. Thank you to everybody who attended the church and graveside to pay their last respects. Donations collected for Prostate Cancer UK raised £240.
